Saul is friendly, interesting and passionate about food and imparting his knowledge to us. It was a pleasure to be in someone's home and experience a more personal side to Buenos Aires than what a typical tourist garners from normal sightseeing. Wine and conversation flowed freely and the empanadas were to die for. Saul sent along the recipes to everything we cooked. I hope to duplicate this fabulous meal at home!

It was also nice to be in an Argentine home with a... read more well equipped kitchen and to share a couple of nice bottles of wine. Who knew you needed a strong dough for empanadas? No store-bought crust here! When we were done we all agreed they were the best we had had in Argentina. I was pleased that Saulhad enough prepped to make the evening fun (no hours spent chopping onions), but not so much that we didn't do or learn anything. Lovely evening!

We had a brief tango lesson before the class that had to get cut short as it was a thunderstorm and we got stuck in traffic.
